It has now been 3 months since I shared about God’s direction for me to publish some of my messages. I thought it would be helpful to update you on the progress.
The book is in Step 1 - the Editing phase. There are several editors working on this as they go line-by-line to make their suggested changes to grammar, sentence structure, footnoting, etc. This is to be a 6-8 week process, and I am expecting to hear from them in early July. I will review the edited materials and give final approval before we move to the next step.
After that comes Step 2 - Production. This focuses on the design and use of my photos for the cover and interior pictures. Once I have given my approval, the files will go to the printer! During this process, the marketing plan will be developed for my book.
Then comes Step 3 - Post-Production which involves submitting the files to the printer for set up. Once the book is available for order, the distribution begins for retail and digital distribution.
The process is continuing. It is quite a new experience for me, but this company has been very good to work with thus far. Prayerfully the book will be ready for purchase toward the end of summer or early fall.
