The Journey Continues - New Beginnings

It was our last night in this divine place in the mountains of North Carolina. Not just the last night of this trip, but the LAST night. We had a relaxing, calming few days in this place, but this journey has now ended. You see, the cabin now has new owners and new adventures for the new family. Our time in this heavenly place has ended, but God has blessed us in extravagant ways over the past 4 years. We are so grateful for the time here.

This is the place offered to us 2 months after my mother died. Mother’s Day was approaching, and I could not bear to be in town. These friends gave us the opportunity to get away – from town, from the memories, from the freshness of her passing where I could bear my anguish and pain. And what a divine place it has been for us since.

When we came to the cabin in 2019, we experienced God’s presence and loving arms with such intensity. God blessed me with 4 messages. These messages were just for me at just the right time – “When is the Fog Going to Lift?”, “Light up the Sky”, “Promises”, and “Signs and Wonders”. How I pray that they have helped others since then!

The only place to fully experience this cabin is on the deck in the back. The weather is ever-changing here. While sitting on the deck enjoying this last full day, we have seen the weather change in a matter of minutes. Today alone, we have seen the sun shining on the various mountain ranges; clouds bringing showers; the mist rising and gently moving left to right through the mountains, and the sun peeking through the clouds to shine on select mountain tops.

Last night, we saw a crescent moon and Venus shining in a very clear sky. The lights of homes on the farthest mountain ridges were sparkling as the sun’s rays gave way to the evening darkness.

Tonight, we had given up hope of seeing a sunset because of the clouds and periods of rain throughout the late afternoon. As I began to type these thoughts, I looked out the large window at the kitchen table, and what did I see? A gorgeous sunset, just visible in that narrow spacing below the clouds but above the mountain top! Oh my! We simply praised God for giving us a spectacular view on our last evening there.

I recently wrote about the loss of our silver maple tree which had given me several messages. Now the loss of this special place is fresh. I will not mourn because I have been truly blessed by God to have had these 2 special avenues for messages from my Father. He has blessed me in several ways and has been so very good to me and our family.

Father, what else do you have in store for me and the readers of your messages? Help me to trust you and obey your directions for me. Help me to discern your next messages for others to read. Help me to not be afraid of what is to come. I know you are in charge of this world. On to new beginnings!

Thanks for stopping by,

Rachel
